PRP Facial

Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) produced from an individual’s own blood is driven deep into the skin with micro-needling.  The platelet-rich plasma or PRP is activated to release at least 8 essential growth factors. Growth Factors repair and strengthen the skin, yielding beautiful results!

What is PRP?

Platelet Rich Plasma is a concentration of platelets that circulate through the blood. Produced from an individual’s own blood, these concentration of cells are critical for blood clotting.  The liquid plasma and platelets of the blood are required for cell recruitment and essential for cell multiplication and cell specialization that is required for healing. After a blood sample is obtained from a patient, the blood is put into a centrifuge, which is a tool that separates the blood into its many components. Platelet-rich plasma can then be collected and treated before it is delivered to an injured area of bone or soft tissue, such as a tendon or ligament.

Eclipse PRPEclipse PRP, provides patients with the best-enriched plasma, including platelet count and growth factor analytic. Extensive studies show, in comparison to other PRP purification devices, the patented process of Eclipse PRP™ renders the highest supra-physiologic concentrations of platelet counts and up to 8 biologically active growth factors, such as PDGF, TGF, EGF, CSF, KGF & VEGF.

Process
  1.     During a short office visit, a small amount of a patient’s own blood is drawn into a 10 ml vacuum collection tube containing a proprietary separator gel.

  2.     The tube is placed into a centrifuge and spun for 12 minutes to isolate the platelet-rich plasma.

  3.     The contaminating red and white blood cells are located below the separator gel.

  4.     The PRP  is ready for use and spread over the treatment area before driven deep into the skin with micro needles.
